Fashionable rooms with a very good bed, mirror above, as for instance. Fresh decor throughout and professional and well-trained staff who provided excellent service. Central location, not too far away from Strathaven Castle. Easy...  

Comfy bed & great steak.

Units with nice view over harbour. Central location really close to a minuscule square of dauphinoise potato, and the centre, top-class and recently refurbished rooms.

The walk-in shower was a refreshing treat.

The signage to bedrooms was confusing.

Excellent Breakfast and staff at breakfast

The reception when we arrived at 1.30am couldnt even be bothered to speak to us!! he just grunted. It is the worst welcome i have ever received after a long and tiring journey.

The staff where always most helpfull and polite,

The fact you had no lift. And the single room was at the top of two flights of stairs, Which took my independence away,

I thought the front desk staff were lovely and very helpful.

Some of the staff were quite rude and abrupt. The hotel could do with some modernisation as was a bit dated, and for £110 for bed and breakfast it wasn't exactly cheap.

The staff were consistently attentive and proactive throughout my stay. The beautiful grounds offered a serene environment although the room could have been better.

The private dining room for our group had fantastic food presentation and delicious flavors!

We stayed for two nights with our children while exploring the nearby attractions like Strathaven Park and the miniature railway. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were incredibly accommodating when we needed assistance. The dining options were quite good, but we would have appreciated a few more breakfast choices, such as fresh fruit. a lovely experience that our family enjoyed.

The building carries a sense of history, with charming old-world architecture. Positioned conveniently for travelers, it's nearby a motorway while maintaining a cozy, rural feel, great for those looking to escape city hustle....
